Tax Advisor (Practice)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a newly established boutique tax firm with offices in Dublin and Mayo who are seeking to strengthen their growing tax team with this newly created opportunity.

They are seeking a qualified tax professional to develop their career at a time of growth, presenting them with clear runway to progress.

The successful candidate will be a qualified tax accountant (circa 0 – 4 years’ PQE) with Big 4 experience who are interested in developing a strong career as a Tax Advisor. You will have a desires to have full exposure to tax advisory work and engagement with clients.

The Role

  • You will be providing Irish tax advice on business sales & success.
  • Liaise with clients directly to provide top quality corporate advice.
  • Advising business owners on any tax related queries that may arise.
  • Working with startups to create structure for their business.
  • Opportunity to work with exceptional nationwide clients – inspiring business owners, ambitious companies and lots of new referrals.
  • Assisting with the training and development of trainee and part qualified tax professionals.
  • There will be no compliance within this role as clients will use their existing accountants for these services.

The Candidate

  • Qualified tax professional (CTA/ITI) with experience within Big 4 firm.
  • Strong academic record/analytical skills, demonstration of academic excellence.
  • Curiosity and desire to solve problems for clients.
  • Extrovert and enjoy people – this is not a sales role but there will be a lot more client engagement than within large accountancy firms.
  • Highly client focused and committed to consistently exceeding client expectations.
  • A positive and professional manner, with strong communication skills essential.
