Group Financial Accountant (FMCG)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading FMCG multinational seeking an ambitious accountant to join their rapidly growing group finance team based in north Dublin.

The successful candidate will be passionate about working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and will be keen to play a key role within the group finance function. The role will have interaction with management at all levels and will have exposure to governance, mergers and acquisitions, internal audit, and grants.

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious qualified accountant to gain exposure to many financial aspects of a large fast-moving business.

The Role

• Lead on controls and policies across the group as it grows into the future
• Co-ordinate and collate board reports from each trading division for review with the Group Financial Controller
• Be the group support to operating companies on M&A activity initiated at opco level and prepare brief financial appraisals on potential M&A targets identified by Exec / Board
• Assisting and leading with internal audit reviews
• Assist shared services and the wider group with systems improvement initiatives
• Assist with group budgeting process
• Assist with year-end audit and tax work
• Aid in accounting and reporting issues
• Ad hoc projects and systems work

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (0–2 years’ PQE)
• Practice background with experience of audit and the preparation of financial statements
• FMCG experience advantageous
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels

The Rewards

• Salary range, circa €60,000 – €65,000
