General Ledger Accountant (SSC)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading multinational with operations globally and have their European finance function (SSC) based in west Dublin.

This business harvests a fast paced and dynamic culture. The finance professional will contribute to the month-end general ledger process in a multi-currency environment whilst working under US GAAP reporting.

This role will suit a practice trained accountant seeking their first industry move within a leading multinational organisation.

The Role

• Responsible for accurate and timely management accounts under US GAAP reporting, including P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis
• Preparation of supporting month end reconciliations
• Approve journal entries generated and monitor month-end close progress
• Approve balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage special projects

The Candidate 

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting discipline
• Practice trained professional seeking first industry move
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, combined with an overall commercial mindset

The Reward

• Salary, circa €55,000+
