Financial Analyst – Recently Qualified ACA

This PLC is seeking a newly qualified or recently qualified accountant with 0-1 years’ PQE.

Candidates will have trained in a Big 4 firm as a chartered accountant and will have experience auditing industry clientele.

Most likely this will be your first move into industry and this client is seeking ambitious, motivated and career orientated professionals that want to work with a leading PLC.

This role will include core elements of group finance but there will also be an emphasis on more project-type activities.

The Role

• Preparation and review of Group IFRS consolidated financial statements in a multinational multi-currency environment to strict external reporting deadlines
• Preparation and audit of Annual Report
• External group financial reporting – liaison with divisional teams and external auditors
• Assist and support divisional reporting entities on relevant reporting issues and local statutory financial reporting
• Liaising with auditors in respect of assigned areas during the course of the financial consolidation exercise
• Assist in the Group financial budgeting process
• Other ad-hoc projects and requests from senior management
• The role is cross-divisional with international exposure and has strong links with other teams within Group Finance and elsewhere in the business

The Candidate

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 0-2 years’ PQE
• Big 4 trained within industry audit preferable
• Team player with excellent verbal/written communication and inter-personal skills
• Must have the ability to work to tight deadlines in the production of internal and external financial reports to senior management
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills
