Financial Accountant (Medical)

Armont Recruitment are working with a leading medical business seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their high calibre finance team based in south Dublin.

The team currently consists of financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, payroll and accounts payable. This role offers a broad range of experience as well as exposure to senior management in the business, while reporting directly to the finance controller.

A commercially minded individual would suit this business and they are seeking a Big 4 trained ACA (0–1 year’ PQE) seeking their first move into industry or qualified chartered accountant (ACA) seeking to build on 6–12 months industry experience in a growing, ambitious business.

The Role

• Preparation of the monthly reporting pack to the board and senior management
• Management of the annual audit
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Completion of the statutory accounts
• Management of internal controls
• Treasury management
• Maintenance of accounting records

The Candidate

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 0–1 year’ PQE
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong systems experience
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
