Financial Accountant (Aircraft Leasing)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a well-established and expanding Aircraft Leasing business seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their growing team based in Dublin.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be a key member of an expanding finance team in Ireland.

This role will suit a recently qualified accountant (practice or industry trained) with experience of accounts preparation in an SME or multinational environment.

The Role 

• Responsible for preparation of the statutory accounting activities
• Preparation of month end accounting, reporting tasks and trial balance submission
• Journal entry preparation and analysis
• Evaluate current processes and internal controls; make and implement recommendations for improvement
• Assist with the preparation of weekly management reports
• Assist with preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis for Board of Directors
• Assist with forecasting results, analysing variances and providing associated commentary
• Assist with cash flow management
• Work closely with accounts receivable
• Work closely with accounts payable

The Candidate 

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) – will suit 0 to 2 years’ PQE
• Practice or industry experience – SME or multinational
• Passionate about progressing their career
• Ability to work with a small team with exposure to C-Suite level
• Must have strong communication skills
• Experience of QuickBooks advantageous

The Rewards 

• Salary, circa €50,000 to €55,000
