Finance Manager (PLC)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a global leading PLC seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to join their high calibre and growing finance team based in Dublin.

This outstanding opportunity will play a key leadership role within a high-growth business that has achieved impressive expansion in recent years. Within this position you will work closely with the senior management team and you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day financial reporting for a key business entity in the organisation.

This role will suit a finance manager (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with circa 4+ years’ PQE within a similar fast-paced large multinational organisation.

The Role

• Manage team of qualified accountants, including leadership, training and development
• Manage the finance function including internal and external reporting, audit, internal controls, polices and compliance
• Management of the preparation of the financial statements
• Manage, review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for month end and quarterly reporting
• Correspondence with local contacts and dealing with financial issues relating to the business entity
• Provide financial insights and reporting for the senior management team
• Other ad hoc finance project work as required.

The Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 4+ years’ PQE in a PLC or large multinational organisation
• Experience of team leadership and team management
• Experience of US GAAP and SOX would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels across the business
