Finance Manager (Healthcare)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a global leading organisation within the healthcare sector that is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to join their growing finance team based in Dublin.

This is a newly created Finance Manager role due to a business acquisition and development of a new divisional area within the organisation. The role will manage a team of qualified accountants and report into the Head of Finance.

This Finance Manager role will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with circa 3+ years’ PQE in a similar multinational environment.

The Role

• Management of qualified accountants, including coaching, mentoring and developing
• Management of the preparation of the financial statements
• Oversee smooth running of month end close
• Support process management and improvement
• Manage reporting and stakeholder communication
• Approve balance sheet reconciliations prepared, monitor aged items and assist with resolution of issues
• Act as liaison between other internal departments and stakeholders as required
• Provide overall department support and assist with ad hoc needs and requests

The Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) – circa 3+ years PQE
• Experience of team development/management
• Leadership qualities
• Detailed knowledge of accounting processes
• Excellent communication skills required
