Commercial Accountant (FMCG)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading FMCG business seeking a newly/recently qualified accountant, who is commercially minded and interested in working in a non-month end role with commercial stakeholder responsibilities.

This role will suit a newly/recently qualified chartered accountant (ACA) interested in making your first move into industry from a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm.

The Role

• Responsibility for all aspects of financial/sales reporting
• Key finance business partner to liaise with sales team & manage spend
• Assist in preparing budgets & quarterly forecasts
• Preparation of information for monthly/quarterly review meetings
• Margin analysis for their key products
• Assisting the management of junior accounting staff
• Other ad hoc reporting & projects

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (0-2 years’ PQE)
• Big 4/Top 10 practice trained or FMCG industry experience
• Very strong attention to detail
• Have good interpersonal & communication skills
• Be self-motivated, able to plan and prioritise workload in order to achieve deadlines
• Strong excel skills
