Assistant Accountant (FMCG)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading FMCG multinational and well-established brand seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team based in north Dublin.

This business has rapidly expanded over the years through global development and is progressively expanding their global operations within Ireland.

The role will report to the Finance Manager and will suit a trainee/part qualified accountant, seeking to make their first move into industry from practice, or leverage off their existing industry experience by joining a business that offers broad career advancement.

The Role

• Preparation and submission of accounts
• Preparation and maintenance of specific P&L accounts
• Preparation and completion of bank reconciliations
• Provide analysis and support to external and internal audit
• Responsible for maintenance of prepayments and monthly releases
• Work closely with AR and AP teams
• Responsible for a number of ad hoc projects within the finance function

The Candidate

• Part qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• 2 years plus experience, preferably within a FMCG business or coming from practice
• Good academic background
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint

The Reward

• Salary range, €40,000 – €45,000
